Slidecasting 101

Slidecasting 101

As the description over at slideshare sais:
"This is an instructional slidecast showing how to make a slidecast. Very meta, no? Anyway, it's a good example of the possibilities that slidecasting has. It's a new medium, somewhere in between pictures and video. We can't wait to see what kind of slidecasts YOU come up with!"

But what's a slidecast?
A slidecast is this: slides+podcast= slidecast

Here! Have a look at this presentation

Google and PowerPoint

It looks like Google is prepairing to launch a web-based version of PowerPoint (following their multi-user versions of Word and Excel). This'd be nice.
We can see a hint of that in the new feature of gmail: "Users of the Gmail email service can now open Microsoft PPT files within a Google environment using their Google web-based software."

Draft Powerpoint Template

So... this is a first template. It actually is just a draft. It's not a template. I'll edit it later. I hope...
You cand download it from here.

Why Another Powerpoint Templates Blog?

Because I'm sick of all those tasteless templates that I see all over the internet. Tasteless I tell you! And not only that they are ugly as hell, but they also are extremly expensive, aren't they?
So I'll try and come up with a couple of cool powerpoint templets every week. And if I happen to see a cool template somewhere else I'll let you know.

Cheers!
